Belrad coordinated the real estate underwriting and due diligence for a major investment bank as they considered a $289 million bond offering secured by the privatization of Navy housing in Oahu, Hawaii. The transaction successfully closed and all bonds were sold.
A Tokyo-based investor engaged Belrad to coordinate the real estate underwriting and valuation of the 1,300 acre Makena Resort in Maui, Hawaii. The property ultimately traded to a partnership that was formed by Morgan Stanley for a price reported to be in excess of $550 million.
Belrad was retained to underwrite and perform due diligence on a 369-lot residential/golf course development in Los Cabos, Mexico. We delivered an evaluation of the asset and advised the client on an acquisition strategy.
We provided primary real estate due diligence and underwriting for a Southeast-based commercial bank on a $300 million land loan in central Florida.
