Geoffrey Hicks
Geoffrey is a Director at Belrad Group with over 25 years experience in real estate loan underwriting, securitization, and origination. Prior to joining Belrad, Geoffrey was President of Sonoma Real Estate Consulting, Inc., managing underwriting and the securitizing of CMBS loans for select clients. His company also provided property management and asset-management services for high net worth individuals on a variety of commercial real estate developments. His clients have included Lehman Brothers, Bridger Commercial Funding, Asiana Bank and Union Bank of California.
Prior to forming SREC, Geoffrey was a Senior Manager at GateCapital. There he oversaw underwriting training for new analysts as well as served as manager of investor reporting for a portfolio valued in excess of $2.5 billion. Geoffrey was formerly a Vice President and Senior Underwriter for Bank of America underwriting both recourse and non-recourse large loans. He held a similar Vice President position with Wells Fargo Bank, where he underwrote commercial real estate construction loans (including CRE facilities).
Geoffrey holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, from the California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo, California. In addition he holds a Paralegal Certificate, with a concentration in Real Estate Law from the University of West Los Angeles.
